Nematodes

Shrimp Aqua

Recommended Posts

After having an outbreak of white nematodes (bought in on a small piece of driftwood with Anubias) now this was a complete new setup in a 200lt tank being made ready for CRS etc. New Ista shrimp substrate, canister filter and chiller so was not impressed. I have just completed treating with Internal Parasite Clear having done four treatments, i think i may have finally got on top of them. Now all i have to do is get water PM's right and nice and stabe

then i will be ready to stock. It seems this treatment works on these Nematodes but i fear i may have to treat again. Anyone else have to retreat after a short period of time?aldvshlouqdbaldvshlouqdb

Do nematodes harm your shrimps? And pic?

Nope they dont, but is good to gravel vac them out anyway. They arent pleasent to look at and dont really want dead ones in there
