They are wild guppy's, they were released back in WWII to combat mozzies & they are definitely stunning. :victorious:

True guppies are just as cute as endlers! :encouragement:

That's some good pictures you took of them Wayne.

How do they compare to endlers in size? Are they just as tiny?

I like these guppies just as much as I like my endlers, They are all about the same size as the endlers, just beautiful little fish. This particular line comes from Barneys Springs up NQ near karanda. Bob found them in a fairly isolated area. We know that they are very likely not to have had any contact with other forms of Guppies like the wild types found in coastal areas. and have been in the area for at least 60 years. They have started to breed well for me now so I should have some to spread around to members fairly soonRegardsWayne

I think somewhere in the handbook it says that these vehicles are not suitable to use as a 4x4 and bush bashing is definitely out.:cower:

It was my ute Wayne, you know the one that is NOT a 4x4, but some goose tried it anywayBob

Who read them and it takes the fun out of it, must get the 4x4 going, the shed will be under way in a couple of weeks, so next trip up Wayne we can go bush proper

I bet there was some swearing coming outta your mouth, better install floaties under it then you won't need the boat?

Yep all the bad words were directed to my self

It went to nearly the drivers door, I have to drain the Diff, gas tank and clean it, no where near the motor so all good.

I think a Army Duck just may be an overkill LOL, it would scare the Crocs

Dirt boat ramps are no good without a 4x4

Bob

Ben one of the rocks that had Gobies one them stopped it from going all the way

My Dad live's on a property up the blue mountains, had a V8 Landcruiser 4x4 for years claiming he'd be stuffed without it.

Traded it in for a Honda Jazz, still does river crossings and the winding mud road all the way down the valley.

Just goes to show you don't need a 4 wheel drive for everything.

LOL try telling that to the idiot next door to me with the Porsche Cayenne Turbo for the trip to woolies.

It has been a few weeks now and I have done a couple of large water changes. I tested the water parameters this morning, GH6 and KH2, TDS 140 and PH 7.5. Obviously the PH is off but there isn't anything in the tank that should cause the PH to rise to this figure so I will just run the tank for another month with 10% weekly water changes (probably just with RO water) and see where we are at that point. The RO water tests at PH6, and the KH and GH in the tank could come down as they are at the upper limits for Caridina shrimps! There are only about 10 very small snails in there at this point, but they seem to be doing well enough.

I believe these to be very rare in Australia so you may even consider making it a longer term plan and produce your own by starting with the best CRS you can get as that is where the pure lines started! Depends how patient and interested in the project you are, but would save money as well? If I recall correctly it takes from 8 generations of selective breeding? They sell them at micro aquatic shop but do not ship to Western Australia, but that means they are available in Australia. https://microaquaticshop.com.au/products/pure-red-line-grade-ss-shrimp Good luck and just maybe smeone on here may point you in the right direction or be able to supply you with some.

Hi Guys,  Does anyone know where to buy PRL shrimps in WA, not the CRS please. Thanks Regards

Yes it’s super accurate to position where I want now and stay there- I am satisfied.  All the fish and shrimpers are doing excellent! Coming up on 4 years running!

You must be pleased with that, it looks better and is much more robust and less likely to damage or leaks! The tank looks very natural now it has been running for a time. I see the ember tetras, how are the blue shrimp doing, I see a few? The cat and dog look very content and unimpressed, lol.
