What shrimp is?

Hello guys, can someone tell me what shrimp is?
Seller told me that is a Masapi.

I'm breeding them with ph 7.5, KH 6, GH 12, temp 22-26 degrees celsius.

I think not.

Masapi

is a Sulawesi shrimp. It has a very long and distinct rostrum.

 

That one in your picture ... I can't quite tell what it is. But it looks like a low quality Tiger (caridina cantonensis).

Anyone else have a second opinion?

I'm asking you because searching in google i found this image too, colours seems like masapi ones....

In both forms of Masapi (if they are indeed the same shrimp, only different colors - rostrum looks different in both photos though) it appears that both shrimp have a "black stripe" on the side of the "head" and dots along the side. Both have a somewhat "humped" back as well.

 

 

Ale93, it might be the quality of the photos, but I'm not seeing those distinctions in your shrimp.

Ignore the colour, as Masapi can come in many different colour morphs.

But always, the rostrum is very long. And stripe in the middle of the head as Zoidburg mentioned.

 

Try to catch the shrimp and place into a breeder box for photos.

Get a close up side shot of it's head.
