Idle curiosity

Just out of idle curiosity has anybody tried breeding any of our native caridina (I thinking Caridina sp. NT2, C. sp WA4 or even C. NTnilotica) with any of the non native caridina such as Crystals or tigers? If they did breed successfully I wonder if this would produce more robust and temperature forgiving shrimp, along with possibly more colour/ pattern possibilities especially if C. sp. NT2 or C. sp. WA4 where used. While C. NTnilotica might produce much larger shrimp from such a crossing.

To attempt such a cross would it be better to try and acclimatise the natives to the Crystal shrimps preferred parameters or could you try to find a happy half way point?

I would never really have the opportunity to try such crosses myself even though the natives mentioned are all thriving for me, I just have no luck at all with crystals so I wondered if anybody had attempted it already and what the outcomes where.
