Aldi selling powdered Kale and spirulina for DIY shrimp food

For those that are into DIY shrimp or fish food ... Aldi are selling powdered Kale and Spirulina on Wed 24th Jan.

These are great ingredients for use in DIY foods like my "Shrimp Kandy Feast"

Did you find a source of astaxanthin JayC? Interested in doing something similar to you to get some more red in my Red Whiptail adults and hopefully eventually fry.

For anyone following, $6 for 125 grams is a solid price :)

I ended up organising a group buy from Kens Fish in the USA.

I can't find a cheap local source unfortunately.

Just picked up some of the green food and kale ready to make this when I get shrimp.

Thanks for the heads up :D

Would grinding up some chamomile, stinging nettle or marigolds/calendula go ok do you think? We have dried, tea quality, of them for our two bunnies (to sprinkle over hay/add interest).

Those would be fine as an additive. 

Don't forget to post pics of the shrimp eating - it's kind of a prerequisite. ?
