Mud Crab?!.

Mud crabs would require brackish water, ie.  brine water. Water that has more salinity (salt) than fresh water, but not as much as seawater. It may result from mixing of seawater with fresh water, as in estuaries.

Apart from that, I don't think mud crabs are very fussy about water chemistry, except for a tank that has no Ammonia and Nitrites. They live in real crap conditions..

Water, salt & peper, 1 onion, 2-3 laurel leaves, just boil, and...

Oh sorry, I was just describing how I like preparing water for mud crabs when I catch some :slobber:
