Wahooooo!!

Welcome @makemyled.

Now I can opening recommend and mention your products without fear of posts being edited for not being a sponsored supplier.

Do you offer any deal discounts for SKF members?

Like if I point people your way, I can mention "Don't forget they have a x% discount if you mention you are from SKF".

I'm about to set up a 4ft x 2.5ft deep x 2ft tank for a community planted (low tech) tropical fish tank & I know my existing lighting on my 4ft is going to struggle (that's being kind - more like fail epically lol!) so I'll be looking at makemyled to get new lighting - everyone I have asked have just replied with makemyled is the best avenue to go down.

I'll probably ask loads of annoying questions before ordering but I work on the principle of - do it once, do it well :)

Any advice or recommendations will be very welcome.

Good afternoon my fellow Shrimp Keepers,
I have received the answers for our first SKF sponsor interview.
Today we have a interview from one of our platinum sponsors, John @The Tech Den. John and his team joined us around the same time SKF changed hands so for me I regard him as one of the founding sponsors of SKF v2. The Tech Den provide both a storefront in Caboolture and an online presence - http://www.thetechden.com.au/.
If you are ever out Caboolture way, they are located at Unit 11, 39-45 Cessna Drive and can be contacted on 07 5432 3260 or via email - sales@thetechden.com.au. I'm drooling just looking at these store pics

      Oh yes, the interview:
How has the aquatic industry changed from when you started?
Advice for people starting in the hobby (fish, shrimp or other)
What is the best tip you can give someone starting out with a new tank?
What is your most popular product for shrimp keepers?
What is one product that you would recommend to shrimp keepers that is in your opinion under-rated or under-utilised?
We have had plecos, nano tanks, aquascaping, and shrimp as the 'big thing' in the aquarium hobby over recent years. what do you see as the next 'big thing' in the aquarium hobby?
In your experience, how has the hobby changed in the past 10-20 years? For example, are people generally keeping smaller aquariums than they used to?
How has the influx of cheap aquarium equipment from Chinese manufacturers affected your business? Do people still appreciate the established brands (think Eheim, Fluval, ect.) or is it all about price?
What is your current favorite pet?
      Do you keep shrimp?
What is the worst question you have ever been asked by a customer?
What is your best experience as a retailer?
