i have an Aqua one 980 with lighting built into the hood. I wanted to replace the hood and get an LED system but my tank measures 99 cm so it's an awkward size. I know there are lights available that cover 90-120 cm - can anyone recommend something- I mainly have mosses and Java fern so don't need plant strength lighting. The other thing I wondered is there an adapter that would allow me to use my hood but with LED tubes ? There are 3 tubes in the hood at least 2 different sizes - I need to pull it apart to check out the fluro sizes and haven't done that yet but 2 tubes died this week so perfect time to replace or upgrade.

hello guys! i have a tank 30L i have a superfish breeding box haning out of the aquarium, for my (test shrimps) that are crystal reds. Now i just saw that 2 of the where carrying egs, but my purpuse was to get blue tiger orange eyes. mu question is can blue tiger and crystal reds shrimps in the same tank, i know they breed togheter but maby something nice comes out, i can sell the ugly ones maby. and i cant make a choice between CRS and Blue Tiger thanks. sorry for the bad english, if you dont understand just say it and i try to explain

/i have a very large densely planted shrimp tank that needs a bit of thinning out. The plants are mostly swords with a few stem plants- I also have mosses and java ferns but they are on driftwood. The plants are in a thick layer of benibachi substrate and have a very large root system. My question is if I uproot some of these plants while my large CRS colony is in the tank is it likely to cause an ammonia spike? Is there anything I can do to stop the adverse effect? I have just had several drops of Shrimplets and I don't really want to catch them out as they are so little but I really would like to take a few plants out. I always worry if the substrate is disturbed so if it's too risky I will have to wait until the breeding season is over- I missed the boat this time they started breeding before I got a chance to do a big clean out.

Tap water goes into RO Water unit. The output is RO water - tds around 001-002 The throughput can it be used for neocaridina tanks? The tds is 150. Yet to test GH,KH? Have any one done it or any experience in it? Do let me know if my question makes sense.

Howdy every one, as I don't spend much time on the computer, I will ask them that do?? Are Moss trees still in Vogue ?? and what are the stumps worth and are they available?? The reason I ask is I have 50 under 25cm high and was wanting to see if people want them, or do I off load them wholesale??, was going to mount them on a 10cm square of plastic to keep them standing, if people here want them. Hey everyone just a quick question, Seen a couple of ads around for Taiwan Bees and mischlings where they say F(number). Like F3, F4, F8 etc. What does this mean? Is it something to do with generations? What F are better? If someone could explain it to me that would be great Cheers!
