Monday Blues

Recommended Posts

Now for most of us as Sunday slowly ticks away and the work week begins anew, we all feel a little depressed to leave our lovely shrimp.

This depression is most commonly known as the DREADED Monday Blues! Luckily the cure is quite simple! BLUE SHRIMP!

To help people survive the Monday Blues I wanted to make this thread. Please add pictures of any blue shrimp you have to help cure the Monday blues (yeah I know I create this thread a bit late. You got me! its just an excuse to see what blue shrimp people got)

This is my contribution

  • 2 weeks later...

I know I'm a few hours early for Monday, but I have a busy day tomorrow and couldn't wait another week to post this photo! :)

I *think* this is a shadow Taitibee (spot the uncontrolled breeding program)

Hehe, thanks.  Actually, I should clarify my comment, I am nearly 100% certain that this is a Titaibee (the uncertainity stems from my lack of understanding over shrimp genetics).  The mother was an F1 shadow panda, and I suspect the father to have been an F1 Tibee.  I only had 1 pregnant female and 1 Tibee in the tank at the time, so unless the above pattern could have been produced by another F1 shadow panda/king kong, it's definitely a Taitibee.   Of course, once she started reproducing, things have gotten a little more confusing!
