Plant & Aquarium Safe Glue

Recommended Posts

I'm after some plant and aquarium safe glue that I can use to glue some pieces of different Java Fern and Bolbitis to driftwood, could anyone suggest some, also could it be gotten online as I'm not exactly fully mobile at the moment, ha.

Cheers.

Is any super glue safe to work with when it comes to aquarium use?

I use an Ista brand adhesive called Cyanoacrylate Adhesive. Works well and available through The Tech Den

I use super glue gel. It gives you a bit of extra time to move the plant into the right position. Only problem with super glue is it tends to dry white so you need to cover it with the plant or a bit of moss. All my early driftwood creations were done with super glue. Now I prefer nylon fishing line but the glue is very good.

Yeah looking at doing tiny dobs of super glue, adding Bolbitis, NL Java Fern, Crested Java Fern to some driftwood I have with Anubias on it.
