'Red' Vallisneria - It's a deeper red in other places further downstream in the Mulgrave, and I'll post those shots soon.

Here is the natural habitat of a submerse growing fern which we believe is identical to one which was being sold on another forum for serious money. Bob and I will be putting some up for sale soon, if not into the August auction.

Finally a couple of pictures of an interesting organism that totally fooled me into thinking it was a snail. Bob knew better and correctly pointed out it was the home of an insect larvae. Amazing engineering to create the snail shape using grains of sand.

Looks good Ben, shots came out well, I have been flat on my back for 10 day with the flu, done SFA

When you put up shots of the Mulgrave I can add the shots of you snooping around in and under the DAM COLD water

OZ there is loads of marginal plants around that need to tried out, ones that are out in the dry and under in the wet like Anubias

Bob and I collected a couple of other ferns that look similar to java fern. Now that I know they will survive underwater (they have shot new leaves), I'll post some pics soon. I also collected a couple of other marginal plants that I'm waiting to see how they go underwater.

@northboy  Hope you feel better soon Bob. The fern I got from the first side creek on Harvey has started shooting underwater. So stoked. Pics soon.
