My name is John and im from Perth. I have been keeping shrimps for about 1 year now. I just love them. Currently keeping CRS, CBS,Yellow cherry shrimp and cherry shrimp. Hope one day i can keep some KK and wine red :)

Tank 1 (2.5x18x18): High Grades Tank (both crs and cbs)

Substrate: Benibachi Normal and Powder

Filtration: Eheim 2228 and 1 large sponge filter

Tank 2 (Jebo R352 KG): Yellow cherry tank

Substrate: Small dark grey gravel.

Filtration: 2x Large sponge filter

Tank 3 (standard 2ft tank): A to S grade Crs tank.

Substrate: ADA New Amazonia

Filtration: Eheim 2213 and 1 Gex HOB

Tank 4 (50cmx30cmx40cm): Red cherry tank plus reject crs and cbs

Substrate: Eco Complete

Filtration: 1 large sponge filter

All the tanks have some drift woods and some plants.

i have seen your shrimp room on a few forums mate. Its just awesome. Plus you are breeding top quality shrimps. Just amazing. One day when im ready i will definitely contact you mate.

Thanks guys. No, not my own line. I bought about 10 high grades from a mate of mine as juvies and she was the only female in the group. I'm going to try to improve the black colour more, select breed and get my own line.

No doubt the CBS quality is lagging behind CRS in Oz.... we'll soon get some equality with our existing breeders in OZ !
