Resun cl-85

Hey guys im looking at getting a secondhand cl-85 that has been used for about a year and just wondering if anyone else is using them and if they cope with an aussie summer? It will be going on a 55L and They are recommended for 60 and below but ive read somewhere that they are basically like having fans on your tank which i currently have anyhoo so is it worth me even buying this one or not cheers

Hi Ron I think this model is just a peltier chip not a refrigerated unit. I have read unfavorable reviews of both the brand and that model. However I use air con and have never owned a chiller.  Petfish was (still is?) selling a similar unit that might be a better buy:

Awesome mate thanks heaps for the reply i will give it a miss then as i am wanting a refrig one i thought it was too cheap to be true lol
