tannin water

howdy all been away from here for a few weeks as been pretty flat out with other things but iv had to move my file snakes into what was set up as my shrimp tank to be, the tank is now full of wood and has a fairly light tannin to it, i also have some Terminalia catappa leaves i havent used yet but probably will as it creates the environment the file snakes need, im still thinking of getting some crystal shrimp though and want to know if i can put them in there? or will this cause them problems?

I don't think it would affect it just make sure your parameters are right for the shrimp And you have good filtration

The tannin wont cause you any big problems, just check your water as it will most likely have dropped the PH and hardness a little bit.
