Chihiros Doctor

I came across this device while doing some searching. What is the purpose of the Chihiros Doctor ?  Does anyone here use one and have any opinions?

 

Sounds good in theory but it's just another expense that may be a waste and end up in the shed

And there are several models, shrimp, fish, and plants

Any opinions?

To stop provent any kind of algea from growing.

But i think work best for scape's tank or planted tank.

Better not touch it with shrimps tank lol.

Algae is a good food source for shrimplets. I dont mind to see algae in my shrimps tank

Plus algae in my tank is growing so so slow ......... maybe because of the low temp (using chiller) and good filter
