AuqaGreen's Dino Spit & Shrimp Question

Was looking at the shrimp and corydoras tank this morning and about to put some drops of Dino Spit in and thought to myself instead of 5 drops I put in usually, I'll put a cap full in and see what happens, half an hour later I came back and all shrimp were very active and swimming around AND I suddenly had shrimplets swimming mentally all over the tank, I was like WTF!

So what I'm wanting to know is, were my Co2 levels too low and adding more Dino Spit made everyone suddenly happy and lively?

Dino spit has a chemical called gluteraldehyde which is a sanitising agent. Dave mixes it richer than other brands like excel flourish so adding too much really isn't going to do anything except "sanitise" your tank.

I'd say that your shrimp are stressed out.

As Fishbeast says, it's not necessarily a good sign.

Shrimps stressed out and wanting to escape from the elevated gluteraldehyde chemical can easily be mistaken for being more active.

It could be more of a "get me outta here" reaction.

Be careful with glut.

All is well in the tank, haven't lost any shrimp or corys from what I can see, some of the BBA has gone redish also, no Hydro left at all, so all good.
