Thanks Jamie I have a multicultural tank , all types and colours welcome. It's nice to give culls a place to live and play even if they aren't good enough for breeding program's.

They lost interest in the fruit fairly quickly but continued to feed on the bamboo for a while:(

HAHA, I feed mine bamboo sticks too!

At least only to hold down whatever I'm trying to actually feed them.

But yes, I too notice the forage on the stick, almost saying "Hmm, a bit hard, but tasty none the less".
