breeding long arm shrimp

Hi all, I am attempting to breed some long arm shrimp and was wondering if anyone else has tried and the results.

I have some females with eggs, do they need to be separated before they drop and will the fry survive on green water and Daphne?

Just like 2OFUS said, I am 99% sure the larval young will need brackish conditions and the micro foods that are found in tidal creeks, they will then have a transitional stage back to fresh water. I would look at how people have claimed to breed Amano shrimp in captivity and replicate how they did it with the gradual salinity decrease back to fresh water.

Thanks for the advice so far. I was hoping they didn't need brackish as I found them at around 300m altitude. Although I noticed when one jumped out it ran across the rocks rather than flip around like most shrimp, maybe that's how they travel so far up a mountain. I will look into amino shrimp breeding.

Cheers mick
