floating kordon bags

hi again guys. another newb question

im having some shrimp posted to me. i know i wont be home when they get here as ill be at work and i cant get my wife to acclimate them for me.

so i have 2 options.

1. have her place the package in a cool spot in the house till i get home

or

2. have her open the package and float the kordon bag on top of the tank they will be going into.

which is the better option?

she should leave them in the cool place in your house since the breeding bag cant put floating inside the tank. Breeding bad is the bag which oxygen can come in and out through the bag, if u leave it floating in the water, it cant absorb O2 :)

Hey Bozzy,

Also, the shrimp will most likely be in a Styrofoam box so best for her to just leave it intact. That way the temperature of the water wont be exposed to much change either.
