inside the oxydator there is a catalyst, the catalyst reacts with the Hydrogen peroxide (H202)

H202 is just water with extra oxygen atom, the reaction between the catalyst and H202 releases this extra oxygen atom

into the water in a dissolved form.

dissolved oxygen in the water is the best kind for all living organisms. It is beneficial to good bacteria which means filters will run better/more efficient,

is also reduces algae.
