Please help unknown deaths

Yes it appears to be heading in the right direction. Attended another 10% water chg yesterday tds is now 170ish. What do most big time experienced keepers keep crs/cbs at ? My remineralized ro is 140 ....

Don't know if anyone replied to your question, what with all these off topic posts :)

In my discussions with Alvin Chan last week, when I visited him, he advises CRS/CBS to be kept at 140-160 TDS.

So aim for 150, as you will get fluctuations either side. pH level seem to be near 6.0 as well.

Ok 2 unexplained deaths in 2 days , in crs / sw tank:-( :-( :-( nil in adjoining cbs tank

WP post weekly 10% water change with ssm:

kh; 1

Gh: has risen to 7

Ph: 6.4

Nitrate: 0

Nitrite: 0

Ammonia 0

Tds : 170

Still havnt got the mineral powder as I cant get to the shop where they sell it grrrrr

One was a young adult the other a older gent (? PUBD at least that is what I thought until I saw the younger ine today)

Mannn can I just catch a break ? :dejected:

Do I remove a bit of water and top up with plain RO to drop gh ? If so how much ?

Could it be that it is the last of the diseased shrimp ? If that is what it was... otherwise berried mamas and growing shrimplets (still not 100% survival rate) surviving ok

Blackcat why don't you just order the minerals from a sponsor I know you have to pay postage but its less than the cost of 1 shrimp. Dean delivers next day in most cases. At least that will be one less thing to worry about. So sad that you are still having problems. Chin up you will get there:encouragement:
