How to improve colour for cherry shrimp?

What are your thoughts?

With crystals I just feed mine heaps of calcium pellets for improved white but what about cherry shrimp?

should i feed them more calcium or protein foods?

Selective breeding works best, and keeping them on a dark substrate. When I got my shrimp from a pet store 2 years ago they were clear to red/orange. Now they are brilliant red post-32-139909864506_thumb.jpg

I'd have to agree with both of the posts, a higher PH has proven to give a stronger & more solid colour but the more vigilant you are with your selective process the better & faster the colours will increase their intensity with each generation. :encouragement:
