Your right it wouldn't work here, but then nothing they do would work here. The whole street is lined with fish shops and all the tanks are way way overcrowded yet they're all as healthy as can be.

I don't think a little bit like that will do much, but I will keep an eye on the parameters just in case. The shrimp certainly love it, although it probably helped that it had a small amount of algae on it.

They like tasting it alright, I put in a Cherry tank as well and they're all over it. I usually use it for Bristlenose and Tropheus but these things like it even more.

Well you were right the parameters have changed, but for the better.

PH 6.2 was 6.0

GH 100 was 40

KH <10 was <10

I've taken the coral out for the time being and I'll check the parameters again tomorrow. Anyway in the meantime the Shrimpies have had a good feed and the GH is a bit better for them, not a bad result.
