So where do you get your CO2 tanks refilled from?

I'm looking to refill my tank and looking for options, especially if it's cheaper.

General tips:

• To reduce the re-filling timeframes, always freeze or prechill your empty tank in the freezer or fridge before going to the refiller.
  
• Anyways use CO2 specific hose, or you'll loose up to 30% of CO2 through normal silicone air hoses.

I think it was about 30-40ish dollars for 2x bottles they were both 540g bottles...

Also Exotic Aquatic 300a Neerim Road Carnegie will start doing it soon, they just need to get a fridge to chill bottles.

Im not sure if they don't fill bottles that are not theirs, eg at their "Fill" stations

Obviously only "Sell" and "Swap" would be appropriate for those who purchase a bottle from them..

but a 2.6kg fill is $25 ($199 for bottle and fill)

$50 for a 6kg fill, for a 6kg bottle with a fill is $249

So, $60 basically swap and go if they allow you to swap a bottle purchased, for a new full one, is a bargain.

Unsure if they do that though. Might be worth a phone call to one of the "Fill" Locations and see what the go is on their bottle purchase, can it be "swap'n'go'd" or does it need to be filled by them??

I need fills, so I will be going to my local FILL station.. asap.. eg tomorrow.

Going to make a phone call before hand to see if they can do it.

I will report my findings, that said, anything relevant to this fill station, may not be relevant to another in another state, so it is always best to check.

Il do my best to find out what the go is though.

The guy couldn't say anything else about swap and go's. He said they generally just swap it, if they have same size, or fill the one you bring in.
