In the process of shrimp staring on one of my newly cycled tanks I spotted the smallest fish I have ever seen in my life. This was a bit puzzling as it had only been set up for 2 weeks and had only just had shrimp in it. I eventually worked out that I think it must have been introduced on some moss that I traded with a local fish keeper, I'm pretty impressed that it survived the time out of water as it was tied etc and I hope it survives to be identified (my guess is dwarf rasbora!)

You may be able to see it as the tiny spot in the top right corner of the tank, it has been dubbed 'Minuscule'

Isn't it amazing how these "delicate" creatures can stand this type of treatment yet drop dead with all our good care. Great save!

Most likely came in as a egg then hatched in your tank and Rainbows are good at that.

Do you know what was in the tank the moss came from?
