Ideal Parameters for different shrimp types?

Hi all,

I did a quick hunt but couldn't come up with anything, could anyone link me to the 'ideal' water parameters for the different types of shrimp? (i realize this is probably quite subjective but id love somewhere to start from).

If we can collect enough decent info id like to get a sticky up here for future reference :)

Specifically:

Cherries

Crystals

Tibees

Tigers

Natives

Having so many different WP is difficult, plus with limited tanks, and so many variants and directions to go, I had to priorities my No. 1 priority of shrimps. i.e. TB (yes, espacially BB) was my priority, so I got my tiger's acclimatised to their WP. Didn't notice any ill effects, and their breeding rate / % was great. Cherries which shared the same tank, was the most affected, although, their breeding rate is improving after 2-3 generation.

My I ask what water parameters you aim for Marcus? I am about to make the move from cherries to CRS but soon want to start keeping TiBees and Tigers so I will likely do similar to you.

PH -6.4

GH - 5

Temp -22-23

TDS - 150

if I was focus on TB's I would aim for a PH of about 6-6.4. :-)

Thank you. I appreciate it! :)
