Thanks their a start .... im in the process of moving poorer grade males into my cherry tank so I can breed the poor quality females with the quality males only. I have that no entry original ss girl, so hoping that I can refine them and then be ruthless culling the next batch of babies ... hope that makes sense om a total noob to selective breeding

Nice pics blackcat, very cool shrimp. :encouragement: Just a thought, it would be better to put one of each colour cherry in each tank & same with the crystal/GB shrimp, then you wouldn't have any worries with cross breeding, rather than putting them in together & not knowing if they've crossed or not. :victorious:

Hm tank sharing chrystals with crs n cbs never thought of sherry with crystals... the cherry tanks despite all efforts remain very high ph 7.4-7.6 and the crs and cbs tank is 6.4...

I am getting dividera in there and in the mean time I will drop the bubs into one of my red cherry tanks and let em change the genetics in there for some fun....

Most of us due to lack of tank space seem to double up ,just remember the cherries can withstand ph changes better than the Crystals so best put Cherries in the Crystal tank rather than Crystals in high PH .

Lots of people have sucess breeding cherries in ph 6.4. I would rather do that instead of mix cherries due to lack of tanks.

But you couldn't keep crystals in cherries tank with ph 7.4

Very nice rilli's , thanks for sharing the pics.

Yeah, the previous pic does look like a wild throw back, best to observe them over the next few weeks to see how they develop.
