Just noticed Dean is running his tanks at 25 . My tanks are all between 22-24 for cherries and crystals which I thought was optimum temp for them , am I a bit too low?

Im running mine on around 24, I have read most forums etc say 23 24 so I think we're fine... Only if dean is hiding a specail breeding secert ;)

My tanks are 23-24 through winter. Summer a little higher depending if there is a heat wave or not.

Me too, the temp always around 24 day time and ~22-23 night time :victorious:

The only advantage I know of to higher temp is the gestation period is shorter, but their lifespan is reduced :dejection:

My CRS and CBS tanks are running on 21 and they are breeding well, my TB tanks are on 22-23.
