I am with Squiggle. Looks like a male Ace. I am saying that because the belly looks concave. But i could be wrong, TBs are abit harder to sex then normal CRS and CBS.

Beautiful looking shrimp you got there Ace.

I think it's impossible to know at this stage. It's a 50/50 chance. Most experience breeders I know often get it wrong when untill the shrimps is berried.

Garry has a good eye for determining shrimp sex. When I bought my first shrimp off him 6 months ago he said he was sure he picked a female sss. When I met him and saw the shrimp it was only about 8mm. 3 months later sure enough it was a female. Good eyes Garry!

The underbody looks different from my male so it could be female.

BB- its few mm over. but not half the body length.

My guess is female. I based this on body shape not on antennae.

If you get a drag queen shrimp, the antenna can get very long. Lol

What do you want it to be Ace, does it matter? You will know in a couple of months!

I think at that size it's still to young to tell male or female.

I have 10 chilli rasbora and a killi in a 30(ish) litre tank and they are doing fine and seems about right in size! I hope to get some shrimp for trial at some stage to also go in there but thats for a later date, when things get back to a bit more normal. Simon

A 600x300x180 tank is perfect for CPD or chilli rasboras.

So an update...  I called the store that said they had an ADA 90f on their website and they dont have one.  ADA dont even make that tank anymore.   So guys help me out.. do you consider that the 60F 600x300x180 is too small for a small school of celestial pearl danios or cilli rasboras and shrimp?  30 litres This would certainly help me out with the overall build budget!  I have also found a fireAqua tank being imported into Western Australia that is 900x300x240. I am still in the budget and planning stage and would really appreciate your input team. Thanks for your help sub

You should be able to tell the difference when they colour up a bit as those 2 type look quite different/distinctive patternwise! If you can't tell then put them in one tank and let them grow a bit bigger or just colour up a bit more then you will be able to tell and move one set to a different/seperate tank! Probably if they are small then there isn't much likelyhood of them crossbreeding as they are too young? Welcome to the forum! Simon

Evening Guys,    I had a shipment (small one) arrive today, but the sender has mixed my King Kongs and Black Pintos in the same bag. Is there an easy tell tale as to which is which? (rather small juvies) These are my first bee's and really wanted to keep things separate for now. Thanks in advance.
