optimum water temp for cherries

Hi all. Im wanting to optimise my cherry breeding and increase my growth rates to help speed up my selective breeding programe. Tanks ard currently set at 23 so 1 degree either side is about where they sit. Just wondering is anyone else doing the sane and what temp do u have yours set at.

23 degrees is perfect, cherries are pretty tough so they can handle up to about 27 but I wouldn't recommend it for the long term :encouragement:

23c is actually at the lower end, cherries as far as I know prefer it slightly warmer if possible but 23c works well for them. Others keep them at 25/26c

and they breed far quicker but their life span shortens as well well.

Maybe ill sneak them up a little and see if the breeding increases. I just want to be able to selectively breed my cherries to improve my quality as quickly as possible
