Biozyme appears to be out of stock and I would like to know if there is any other product that may be equivalent to it? :encouragement:

There are heaps of shrimplet powder foods on the market, we have Mosura bioplus, Shirakura Micro organism, Shirakura Chi Ebi, Genchem polytase, Benibachi Baby food, Azoo Max shrimp meal and much much more! Hope this has helped you ineke.

We have a new German product said to be very similar to the Biogenchem ones: I have not tested it yet.

The distributorship has not been part of your question, excuse me. As the product is very new (10 days or so) I guess there is no Australian distributor (yet).

Often if England sells it we can import from them but they don't have a distributor yet but as the product is so new someone may take it on a bit down the track. It's worth keeping an eye out for it:)

So ineke, did you decide on what to use instead of Biozyme?

I'm down to my last packet of Biozyme and there appears to be a world wide shortage.

No John I'm down to a couple of weeks worth too. The English shop I used said probably 2 months but that might be to stop people asking every 5 minutes. So if anyone can tell us what else to use it would be appreciated- it still hasn't made my yellows breed:D

I was thinking about ordering some powdered spirulian, barley grass, nettle, kale and bee pollen, mixing them all together as a home made alternative. I'm not sure if it will do the same job though.

Does the primo food settle around the tank or does it float? I was reading the description and it says it floats.

It floats then eventually sinks which is good coz it scatters all over and all the shrimplets can get to it.

Most of the powdered foods ive used seem to float. So i tend to mix them with a bit of tank water and squirt them with a syringe into the flow of the filter :encouragement:

On fleabay they are in England couldn't find any in Australia . Getting two pkts delivered for $30 usually takes just over a week. Never had any import issues but if I could find it in Australia I would buy here
