Wow Dean, that colour is amazing. Congrats. I'm sure I'm with everyone and we are waiting to see how this progresses and we all have our fingers crossed that they successfully breed true.

Wow!!! I didn't think this new color would get people so excited lol.

I need to first cross the 2 I found and see if I can even get them to bread a small % true before

We all get to excited.

Cherries are hard work to get breeding true and it only takes 1 bad cross to ruin the line or put you back many months

In a breeding program :)

I'll keep you all posted with the progressand hears hoping they do well for us all ;)

With your luck, they'll be popping out like rabbits! And before the week is done you would have already found a few new color variants! B@#$%^D! LOL!

Any point in crossing a yellow cherry with a blue velvet, to get green, too bad I don't have yellows anymore?

  • 2 months later...

so i finally have got these breeding and so far everything seems to be good.

color has dropped a little as i have changed there parameters a few times not to select the strongest most stable color.

The original parents had a drop and i could only find 12 babies but they were all blue except for 1 so bit of luck there :)

anyway here are a few pics of the F1 almost at breeding size.

Hoping next gen will be better
