Hi all

Just curious whether anyone had any information on the gestation period of shrimp and if water temp influences the time it takes for the development of the shrimpets.

Yes increased temp will speed up the process. In a warm tank around 26 degrees my cherries take about 14-17 days. At 22-23 it takes closer to 30 days.

Does the higher temp affect the shrimp much I know they say it can shorten their life if high for prolonged periods but have you noticed that Aquathumb? Mine including Crystals are all at 22-23 but I would like to bump them up a bit but not to their detriment.

Does heigher water temp affect the sex of the juvies. With goldies different water temperatures affect the sex ratio of males and females
