OMG I just saw a baby shrimp!

My yellows had babies after all...well at least one!

I just found a teeny tiny baby shrimp in my tank.

I thought it was a bit of snail poo but it has eyes! ...and it moves.

It is so cute! *happy dance*

Thanks Ineke It's really really exiting....especially because I thought that she had just lost the eggs some time ago and there were no baby shrimp at all.

I saw the baby shrimp again just then....I think I will name him "Snail Poo" :)

I now have discovered that Snail Poo is not an only child, I saw 2 shrimplets....so Squiggle was right once again.

They are just so hard to spot even when they are not hiding.

And there is a new berried Mama Shrimp in there too! :encouragement:

I just discovered new yellow shrimplets, the second batch! :triumphant:

The older shrimplets from 3 weeks ago already look like giants compared to the brand new ones.

Yes all yellow, just not yours for some reason, hahaha :victorious: it really is a head scratcher why yours aren't prolific breeders, hopefully with the injection of new blood in the tank it will kick them off :encouragement:
