Wow postage has gone up a lot!!! I know it was mentioned the other day but I received a parcel from NSW today the item cost me $36 but the postage which thankfully for me was free but for the seller it was $18.50 no money made on that transaction. That was for an item under 500g. Posting shrimp is going to cost a lot by the look of it!!!!

I know what you mean, I posted some fish the other day & they didn't have any 5ks bags so I had to do it by size, ended up was cost twice as much! I let the chick have it, I said why do I have to pay twice as much for postage when it's your fault that you have no stock, that's not fair that I should have to pay for you incompetence! She gave me a credit for the difference of the price, win! :encouragement:

Yeah you're probably right but she didn't seem like the type, she was all apologetic about being out of stock. The fish got the in one piece & alive so I'm happy :encouragement:

That's a massive increase, wow another thing to look forward to when I'm ready to start loading my tank with shrimp!!!

I was very surprised I have to say especially as this was an ebay item with free postage. I don't think there will be many free postage items anymore!

I don't know how they can make money on some of those free postage items sometimes, I bought an item from HK for $2 with free postage, it just doesn't add up :confused:

No you are right they must get their items very cheap. This item I got from interstate was very cheap for what it is so the poor person selling it may not have been aware of the price rise.
