just after reading this topic I will conform the poster theory about colour changes in shrimp in water conditions... I have yellows and reds here and I have found here over time that shrimp that are kept in higher gh they are darker in coulor and trend to be a solid red or yellow.... where the one kept in the lower gh tanks where lighter and not solid to the point the reds turned orange... So that is something else to watch out for as pumpkins really start to flood the market ask the seller what their gh reading is to check weather they have been in low or high gh to cover all bases on if they are true pumpkins/sunkist or a red cherry that lost colour due to low gh....
