Boy or a girl

This one shrimp has been puzzling me for weeks.

It has female length antennas but the body shape of a male. Today it is extra see through and i can see its digestive tract but is that a saddle or poo?

I have been having the same problem, trying to sex some of my mischlings! Wait until they poo it out then have a look or like mine the part where the saddle is, is thicker than the poo tract.

ahahah ignore the long bit, its the beginning darker patch we refer to. Im just looking at my other shrimps and the poop doesnt usually congest in such a place, its usually just one line down.

Heres a good example. This is a male blonde tiger:

Note that the poo comes from the yellow center organ.

I think if the dark bit goes upwards over that yellow organ then it is a saddle.

Go for your life izzy, Make sure the head is clear in the photo so we can read the antennas. Ive been trying to sex my tigers for some time now and find them harder then normal crs/cbs

Tigers are a lot harder to sex, unless they are mature, generally it's a undercarriage shape but no guarantee.

Both TB's and Tiger's are more difficult to sex. Everytime I need to sex them, I make myself a expresso and ensure I've got atleast 30min.....take a deep breath, think of happy thoughts, then do it ! Selling juvi's is the way to go !

The photo is with no flash and the light directly over the shrimp. Its because i lower the exposure to show more of the actual shrimp instead of pretty colours.
