I felt terrible I took a sponge off my filter inlet and had to use a bit of force didn't realise the yellow was on the other side I felt really bad poor little thing. I might not be meant to breed yellows

Wow nice work squiggle, what happen to the panda? Did you manage to capture the white in him or is he still setting in.

Thanks, he has whitened up very nicely, he was hiding the whole time & when he finally came out in the open he was obscured by moss, cheeky bugger :victorious:

Very nice Squiggle you have a lot of berried girls. The shrimplets are cute. I think the other shots were a bit closer? :encouragement:

Looking great mate.

I noticed a few of your shots had a bluish hue to them. Is this from your LED flash? Maybe you can adjust your white balance to compensate for this.

Yeah it's a bit of the LED flash & a bit of post editing to get the whites in the shrimp looking their whitest. I'm still not overly impressed with the detail, lots of out of focus bits i'm still working on. The second & third are my favs but there's still a lot of detail that's missing, I especially have trouble with the panda, just can't get the detail. :dejection:

I'm very intrigued by the red eyed SSS/GB, it came from SS mother & GB father(I think, have a SSS male in there too) I'd really like to know what the deal is with red eyes on a CRS/GB? Is it rare? How did it come about? :victorious:

Yeah good focus is the hardest part of the macro photos. I take most of photos free hand and with the weight of the camera, bracket and flash, it becomes really difficult to maintain that minute depth of field.

I have had red-eyed CRS before that were carrying the golden gene. I wonder if it's an albino trait.

Very nice shots Squiggle!

I love how you captured the eggs! Most photos I see, they are blurred. These photos look outstanding!

I have a Snow White with red eyes :/

I wonder what it means...

Thanks K, I love seeing the eggs too & hopefully with the new flash they'll come out with even more detail. :encouragement:
