Woohoo my motley crew of yellow culls with only one female have done the deed. I HAVE A BERRIED FEMALE :victorious::victorious: know over kill but I'm excited even if they are culls. I will find out if my theory of good genes being carried by culls is right or not. What a lovely sight a berried yellow is , quite different than the reds!!!!

Cheers

Thank you Squiggle LOl I don't know why we take the compliments the shrimp did the work. I'm just happy to see a berried yellow maybe the bee pollen I gave them got them in the mood!!!! Doesn't seem to be an abundance of Yellows in SA rarely see them offered for sale. An opening there for me if I improve my stock????

Cheers

Yes it's a yellow girl but here's the thing today is the first day all five yellows have come out to play at the same time. I think I have been seeing the same 2 or 3 all the time because there is another quite big one that looks like a girl but she doesn't have a saddle yet. I know I have 1 definite boy as he has done the deed and at the moment is doing the dance!!! I have 1 berried girl, 1 saddled girl ,1 that I'm pretty sure is a girl and 1 smaller one that is open to debate. I think I got so caught up in looking for saddles that I didn't really LOOK at the shrimp! I don't have a clue why they would all suddenly stop hiding and come out to play? At least I've learnt one thing today and that is to observe the shrimp properly and not just look for saddles:stupid:

Cheers

Thanks Mick only thing is how could I have been so wrong???????? I was probably getting too big for my boots thinking I was getting good now I've been thrown back to a noob and have remember I don't really know that much after all LOL. Great learning curve just because there isn't a saddle doesn't make it a boy. I'm good with my Reds don't know how I missed it with the Yellows.!! But must say it's made my day !!!! Week even!!!

Cheers
