Definately a pep, she has a little beard though, in my novice eye, she may be a he.

Poor BB now in his generousity he has a dilemma . The auction is looking good BB. I am genuine in my giving way if someone has a male for her. I'm like you just want the best for her and people must keep in mind she needs a minimum of a 3 foot tank because she will get big.

I have a colony of these and all my females have beards. These aren't common bristlenoses and cant be reliably sexed by the presence/absence of bristles around the nose.

Just think BB, if you send her to me she will have plenty of male company.

Sorry I missed this thread, but yes even with the slight beard I think its a female. I love peppermints I have only seen them once for sale up my way and kicking myself I never got any. The fry are really cute with their big white band on their tail. Good luck to who ever wins her and I hope she breeds well for you.
