Hey everyone, just thought I'd show you guys some pics of my yellows, they are getting great saddles so I'm waiting for them to berry up any day now :encouragement:

woohoo bring it on! If they all get berried at the same time apart from losing your boys to exhaustion you should have a huge collection of yellows!!! It must be something in the water!!!

Yeah I put fertility pills in the tank, lol :stupid: I am getting a bit excited seeing all those saddles :encouragement:

Just an update, woke up this morning to some berry good news, lol :victorious: There's three berried but I could only get a shot of two of them, also one of my SS girls is berried too, happy days :encouragement:

YAY! Baby Shrimpies soon! How long does it take 'til the shrimplets hatch?

I think they take about 2-3 weeks to hatch :encouragement:

Just a quick question : why do some shrimps (females) have alot of eggs & some only a few (notice with shrimps the same scenario)?

That's a good question, I think it would just be the variations of nature, just like with spawning fish, with Bettas I've had anywhere from 50 - 400 fry in a spawn but shrimp might be different & it may have something to do with water conditions. I'm sure one of our more knowledgable members will let us know if it is :encouragement:

So I took this pic last night, you can see she has formed the eggs & now I'm just waiting for her to bring them down, gotta love yellow cherries :encouragement:

Cool picture Squiggle we had one on here the other day where you could actually see the eggs moving down.

Yeah I saw it, looked really cool. I wanted to get a pic like that but she wouldn't stay still & I couldn't wait around that long, had to get back to the forum, lol :encouragement:
