Not 100% sure, but the info on the net says OEBT x Black Tiger (as it doesn't gave the tiger stripes), not sure though. I'm just wishing and hoping it pops out from my OEBT's......been praying each day to my shrimp mantle !

That's one sexy shrimp BB I want to dedicate one of my sections in my rack to OEBT!! Do you keep these little guys in Benibachi with thesame wp as TB for eg? Not sure if that was a stupid question Haha. I've come across info on the net saying they need a higher gh and tds is all.

DG17 - Tiger shrimps in Europe are generally bred at a lower PH, vs Asian breeders. Thus with acclimatisation and generations, the they'll be successful with both end of the PH scale (i.e. 6.4-7.4). As I have TB's, and X them, I have kept the tiger shrimps at the same WP then my TB's...... using Benibachi soil etc..... just makes it easier in the long run.

Hey BB, are you sure the stripes are not just the shell overlapping?

Not exactly what you wanted or not, that is one seriously pretty shrimp, and I would love to have a shrimp the colour of an antique blue glass bottle.

I know it's not yours BB but that is spectacular, how long do you reckon it will take before you pop one of those out? If anyone can do it you can! :encouragement:

It's kinda of a guarded secrete internationally, but the rumours out there is that it's a OEBT x Black Tiger......I don't have a black tiger ... :-(, but will selectively breed him...I have 2 more juvi's similar I think...just waiting for them to grow, and hopefully I have a female ? Fingers cross....

What? There is actually a shrimp that you don't have? LOL! Good luck... we all know there is nothing to worry about if you are on the case, you'll have one before we know it.
