Nolan's iwagumi like UGF tank

Should like to share my tank that design for shrimp

will keep CRS /cherries /Tiger shrimp

choose mini pellia as major moss in this aquascape because it grow so slow :crushed:

also got some star moss as a carpet .

2ft size , love the quality of this tank

using undergravel filters because it's shrimp only tank, i put a window mesh on top to avoid the sand block the filter

and i put a layer of Matrix to increase the bacteria grow

This time i try to use a new soil Mr Aqua recommend by LFS , the bag mention they don't have ammonia spike

I use only half of the 8 Kg bag ,created some slope and some stone collected from the back yard

Haven't got chance to take photo after after get my hand dirty

Dry start the moss , cover the tank with plastic wrap , spray some water to keep the moisture level

Light on for 10 hours everyday

oh and can we have a closer look at the star moss? i heard it's absolutely stunning and i haven't really seen one before thanks nolan :P

Yea' date=' I never seen star moss in Australia before but I did have first hand experience earlier this year when I was setting up a tank at home in KL.

Mine was sort of attached to some soil and tied on to the driftwoods and rocks, they are gorgeous!

Looking good, I think once it grows out in a few months time that's going to be great. Love the moss selection.
