Hi all, just thought I would throw a few photos of the 2nd gen. I'm umsure as to how they will eventually turn out but they are around 3-4weeks old and looking more orange than red at the moment.

Thanks for the comments, they are very orange at the moment but I am unsure if it's due to the lighter coloured gravel or if they will colour with age. I will be changing to a pure black gravel soon and painting the back wall black, so see what happens.

gbang put some pics of yours up so we can compare.

Cheers mick

I would consider rephrasing that especially with the rumors of gbang going around. Lol!

+1 LOL....

Smiko, are they 8-10mm yet ? If they still remain orange, and if you want something to compare with, I'll send you a sunkist for a true comparison.....:-)

Bahahaha you guys are evil. I will put pics up ASAP. They are currently in a bare tank so it will be really good to see their colours without dark substrates. I will move them soon and ill take pics again.

Beautiful shrimplets you have there smicko! It would be really interesting to compare the colouring of your orange babies to a pumpkin/sunkist (I still don't know if those are different or the same xD) shrimp :)

And I'm drooling over the blue rili! ;)

Thanks for the nice comments and the cheeky ones too lol. I really should think about how I word sentences.

Bb they would be around the 8mm mark. I have one or two that are a brighter red buy most are orange.

Jess. The blue rilis are my greatest achievement so far I cant wait for them to grow and breed.

Cheers mick
