golden vine

Hi All, I have golden vine in my 2 nano tanks.I soaked them for 1 week changing the water every day. I noticed both of them have a white slimy film on them. the shrimp don't seem to be bothered by it. 1 tank has had 6 shrimp in it for a week now and all seem fine. The slime didn't start until 2 days after going in the tank . I was taking it out and wiping the slime off but now I am just leaving it ,I haven't seen this before does anyone know anything about it.

Yep perfectly normal with gold vine. Doesnt cause any harm. Keep wiping it down if it bothers you. It will go away in a few weeks.

Just leave it. It will go away eventually if youre not bothered by it.

Thanks Heavyd and Jonx I was just a bit worried about the shrimp the slime doesn't worry me as such.
