Hi Neo- Shrimp Thank you. I don't know what the driftwood is. The glue I used is Selleys quick fix supa glue gel and magic glue pen.I prefer the selleys as it is a gel -it gives you a chance to move the plant before it sets. I like the pen because it is very accurate but the gel is best

Cheers

Ineke

Yes thanks Jonx I have another piece for my other nano but it is more of a knot. hopefully planting that one out with mosses. Both were bought from petstock here in Adelaide so they should have some interstate.

Interesting thing about super glue is that it was first invented to seal wounds together (can sting a bit), it gets used at work on mice without any problems. Gives you a bit of an idea on the low toxicity levels.

It works very well but no matter how careful you are you still have white areas showing I've gone back to tying things on except if it is in a difficult spot to tie.

Best advice I could offer with driftwood is start soaking earlier, my golden vine took a couple of weeks weighted down in the tank, other pieces took even longer!

if you have a pot big enough and you want your driftwood to sink more quickly then boil it in water. It also helps to release a lot of tannins out of it prior to it going into the tank if its a type which has a lot of them in it
