Here are a few shots of the RCS I picked up last night off someone. (John, I don't know if you are here, but I hope you are)

Hiding out up in the crypt garden of the girlfriends tank.

They look happy, and tank looks great. Can you post a full pic of the tank.

This is the most recent shot I have of the full tank.

Some things have been ripped out since.

The clown killies are also no longer in there.

Hardscape

Still a lil bit more work to do, but i dont wanna stir things up too much in there.

My big hands have trouble getting in there without messing things up

Eden 501 Canister, topped it up with some Ehiem substrate, and some purigen to keep the water clear.

Pick ups and outflow are in right hand corner. waiting to find some nice 10mm lily pipes.

Yeah cherries for now. I have split 50 or so across two tanks.

This is for the girlfriend.

I love to come in the room and she is sitting on the end of the bed staring at them.

The guy I got them from had some really nice rilli and some of the reddest cherries I have seen.

Hoping for some good starter stock and maybe take it from there.

Here is one of my females in my tank :)

Fantastic photos and great that the RO water unit and pen arrived so promptly! It is always exciting when you get a batch of shrimplets - something I am looking forward too! Simon

Springs here, so maybe the shrimp are more active for breeding? Hope you are collecting the waste RO water for watering your plants.

Bought an RO DI unit from FSA. Free postage and it arrived in 2 days. Very happy. The TDS pen arrived today so I got busy. For reference, I’m about 2 hours North of Sydney. Tap water: TDS 155-157. PH 7-7.2 RO water: TDS 0-1 (Remineralised to 150). PH 6.6 CRS tank water: TDS 198. PH 7-7.2 I siphoned a vey small amount of tank water and am in the process of drip feeding the RO water into the tank. I’ll do this method during water changes until the tank water PH is at 6.6 I guess.  Also found new born shrimplets yesterday and two more berried females. I haven’t seen any berried in about a month so I’m happy.

But the shrimp will be thinking otherwise. Look at all that yummy brown diatom!
