crs & cherry shrimp

can anybody tell me if you can have crs & cherry shrimp in the same tank, i have read that it is not a good idea as only one tipe will thrive.

if so what is a good temp to keep the tank.

Hey troy you can keep them together but cherries will outbreed crs I've found. My crs/ cherries tank is at 23-24 deg

thanks for you help, have been having problems with water temps with these hot days so going to buy a chiller, lost some crs because of it.
