it's too much biofilm (oil film) on surface?

Hello I have CRS shrimp tank and I have oil film on surface like this, it's too much or can harm shrimps? I think it's can be block oxgen, I'm afraid of that

That surface film can be caused by a number of things.

- oils on your hands and arm

- the type of food you feed can have high fats and proteins.

- too much waste accumulated in the tank and gravel.

- not enough filtration that breaks the surface tension. Even an air stone will help here.
