Colours vs Gender

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

Im thinking of moving my Taiwan Bees, Black king kongs and Red king kongs together, my question is will the breed more blacks because its the dominate colour, or will it still depend on the male pattern/ colour more. I ask because I only have 4 reds left, kinda want to breed the colony but not enough tanks..

Thanks

You will get more blacks and the occasional red. Each fertilised egg will roughly have a 75% chance of being a Black KK.
